There once was a young woman by the name of
Skyblue,
She came to Athens with a future to pursue.
She met a young man, his hair all askew,
She gazed at him and somewhere in his eyes she just knew.
They went out to a play, an Athenian debut,
They laughed when an actor cutely missed his cue.
They dutifully contributed to the play's review,
Then went out to the palace gardens and nibbled fondue.
She was falling in love, without even a clue,
The world suddenly taking on a rosy hue.
As their affection for each other grew,
The world span by and time just flew.

Then one sad day, his eyes begin to misconstrue,
Seeing things that were not true.
He looked at her, and called her untrue,
She gazed, shook her head, and was subdue.
He did not believe her, and would not change his view,
Where once there was one, now again there were two.
He went to the taverns and brooded over hard brew,
She cried in her home, and slowly withdrew.
When she saw that there was no hope to renew,
She begin to feel the pain that was long-overdue.
Her pain just grew and grew and grew,
Until there was nothing left she could do.
She left the city, crying in rue,
Out in the wilds, her dagger she drew.
She gazed at the sky, and said her adieu,
But then thought that this, she could not undo.
The priests back home had said this was taboo,
So instead, she cried, saying, "Why you? Why you??"
With her heart turning cold, she rose with clothes a strew,
Grasping her dagger, she waited in lieu.
When creatures came hunting, she just slew and slew and slew,
Until she collapsed to the ground, heaving a mighty "phew."
Today her heart is cold, as was the world she knew,
She is sad inside, through and through.
Now she deals in weaponry with her Merchanting crew,
Apricot, and Cantalope too.
